After returning home to the states after my first visit to Kyrgyzstan in 1998 to help with the Belovodsk School, I felt the call of God on my life very strongly.  For two weeks I tried to sleep and was unable to because of the vision that God had put before me. Every time I closed my eyes to sleep the vision of Central Asia was minister to the needs of the children there. After these two weeks of struggling with this (I did want to be a missionary) agreed to do what He wanted me to do.  Accepting that call on my life there was a great peace in my life, and at that very moment I knew that I was in the center of Gods will for my life. 

On November 16, 1998, I returned to Kyrgyzstan.  For I year I lived in the village of Belovodsk, helping to stabilize the work of the school there.  While there, I grew to love the children and my thoughts and works where centered around them. The Lord has showed me that this will be the future church of Central Asia.  We educate and teach these children about Jesus Christ.  Proverbs 22:6 says train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Our plan is to open as many schools as the Lord wants.  We now have opened the Kara-Balta School and the Tokmok School.  We have also taken the preexisting Kemin School under our wing and opened the Kara-Balta Children's Home.  The needs of these children are so great!

There are children that are ten and thirteen years old that have never been to school. These children can not afford to go to school, even public school, because the costs for food and textbooks and building repair (less than $10/month) are prohibitive. 

We are sponsoring each child for $25 a month. This will educate that child and will feed that child two hot meals a day.  Often this is the only food that child will receive that day.

By educating these children this will give them hope that will one day help to pull them from this vicious cycle of poverty.
